Competition: Disassembled Objects
Judge: Larry Vogel
monicaroyal.com:
Monica Royal has agreed to hold a workshop at the PAB for SCACC members only. The cost is $125. I’ve taken this workshop 3xs and each time it was fantastic.
This will be a small hands-on workshop. Monica will bring a light table and 2 macro light tents for everyone to play with. She will bring lots of cool macro subject matter to photography, gadgets and gizmos-a-plenty! She will also bring some tools for applying water drops and teach the technique involved in that process. Attendees will need to bring:
What to bring: Essentials: 1) macro lens; 2) tripod; 3) light source; flashlight, portable LED etc; 4) subject matter – anything that inspires you or challenges you; 5) Your imagination!
Not necessary but IF you have these, bring them: 1) Cable release / remote trigger system; 2) a small black (and one of white) piece of cardstock or foam core etc. Even painted cardboard will work; 3) Clips, clamps, closepins. Tape, glue etc. anything else that you use to secure objects or lean things on; 4) If you want to work with water, bring a spray bottle and anything you might use to apply drops (I also have applicators that I will share)
