Lightroom Classic (LRC) is a great program for organizing and editing your photos. Recent masking upgrades have now made it possible to make more edits in LRC without relying on Photoshop. However, there are still times when using LRC and Photoshop together provide the best image editing solution, for example, complex corrections and compositing.
In this workshop, Paul will demonstrate several scenarios where the editing workflow would benefit from using both programs. In addition. he will review 1) how to best configure settings for an optimal LRC/Photoshop workflow and 2) the most efficient ways for sending images from LRC to Photoshop and back to LRC.
We will be meeting at the Old Town trolley station at 9am. If you are coming from North County, you can take the trolley from Nobel Drive to Old Town. From Old Town we will be taking the green line and getting off at the Little Italy station, a great opportunity to shoot street photography at the Little Italy farmer’s market. We will then get back on the trolley to Old Town where we will disembark and visit Old Town and Photograph the area. Bring a snack or purchase something for a quick lunch break. Afterwards, we will get on the trolley’s green line to SDSU where we will find lots of opportunity for architectural photography, such as the new Aztec Center, Pedestrian Bridge, Stone Monuments, Performing Arts Plaza, Scripps Cottage, Hardy Memorial Tower, Heppner Hall, Mediterranean Garden, and the exterior of the Love Library, as time permits.
The cost of the trolley is $6 for an all day pass. Please email kathymcgaffigan@gmail.com if you are interested.
