Poly Photo club is proud to showcase the talented next generation of photographers. Our club partnered with San Dieguito Academy High School by sponsoring a contest for their photography students.
The students, under the guidance and direction of their photography instructor Susan Coppock, completed their projects despite this year’s school closures. Susan commented, “I cried many, many times trying to grade their assignments. I was overwhelmed at how they embraced their passion and were willing to show vulnerabilities during this difficult time.
The projects were:
- Life at home under the quarantine
- Family photos at home
- Polar panoramas
- Digital painting in Photoshop
Images were submitted online to our club and Poly members judged the images – a difficult task! Monetary scholarships went to the first and second place winners.
Congratulations to all!
