Poly Photo Club was the high scorer in the 2024 Interclub competition, which is a multi-club juried competition held five times annually beginning in March and sponsored by the Southern California Association of Camera Clubs (SCACC). The four clubs competing are Darkroomers, Fallbrook, Photonaturalists and Poly. The clubs submit 20 member images for each competition. The judges on the three-judge panels are sought from outside SCACC, often including nationally recognized Photographic Society of America judges, of which SCACC is a member council.
In a very close competition Poly was the high point recipient with 2,025 points. In the end-of-year competition Robin Stern’s photo, “Strike Out” received second place, Carol Flanagan-Corsi, Lacey Horner, Debbie Porter, Paul Shilling and Osia Strasner received honorable mentions.
